Education First is an innovative after-school program focusing on inquiry-based science for grades 3 to 8. The program provides a complementary and enrichment curriculum that enhances our students learning experience and better prepare them for a modern society.
Education First is a warm and supportive environment where students can experience science in classes up to 10 students. Children work in groups of two or three with each member contributing to the management, data collection, data analysis, and reporting of results.
Individual students' observations and ideas are incorporated into group decisions.
Education First uses a hands-on learning method. When students are doing hands-on science, they are doing science.
By doing and experiencing science, students develop their critical thinking skills, discover scientific concepts, become independent learners, and improve math and communication skills.
Hands-on experiments increase motivation and enjoyment of learning, perception, and creativity.
Children will gain a better understanding of nature and will increase their ability to appreciate it and interact with it taking their science experience to a higher level.
Our modern society needs passionate students that one day will push the science and technology boundaries ahead.
